The princess and the car...

These were a custom order, but just too cute to not share.  They are for a little brother and sister and they also wanted coordinating scraves.  Plus, I added a few others that I have been working on for you to check out!

Scarves!

Here is a sampling of my scarves, both fleece and re-purposed t-shirts.  They aren't long and bulky like typical scarves, which is nice.  I guess you could say they are more of a neckwarmer.  The t-shirt scarves are nice and light weight - perfect for spring and to add a splash of color to an outfit or jacket!  The buttons are my favorite part.  I used a lot this time from http://www.woodentreasures.etsy.com/  .  He makes them out of tree branches and have a really smooth, nice look.  The majority of the others are made of bone or coconut.  I have more scarves that I will be posting on Etsy, so be sure to check that out in the next day or so!  Enjoy!

So ADORABLE!

If you've been reading my blog, you may recognize these hats!  I made them for my friend Heather's kids who is the one that created my logo.  Plus she's a photographer.  If you haven't already checked out her work, her website is http://www.heatherbirdphotography.typepad.com/  .  She's been taking our family's pictures for the past year and a half and I just love how she can capture their personalities.

These were made all out of re-purposed shirts.  If anyone has any pictures of their kiddos wearing their hats, please send me a copy!  mountainsoleil@gmail.com

Voila! The "Teton" organic line is here!

Yeah!  My first official "line" of hats.  I loved making these.  They are so cute and the material is fabulous.  I ordered the material from Near Sea Naturals.  They sell sustainable fabrics and notions and most of them are made in the U.S.A.  Their facility is even solar-powered.  Check them out:  http://www.nearseanaturals.com/ .  These are sold for slightly more than my t-shirt hats because of the cost of the material, but I think it's worth it!  They are currently for sale at http://www.mountainsoleil.etsy.com/ .  They come in all sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-24 months, 2T-4T, and 5-7 years.  I have a small amount of material left if anyone needs a special size.  I've also added some new t-shirt hats to my Etsy site.

I would like to thank Julie from Stroller Strides of Jackson, WY!  She has added Mountain Soleil to her website.  I love Stroller Strides.  When we lived in Boise, Reese and I used to go almost everyday and then I became in instructor.  What a great workout and a way to do something positive with your child, plus meet amazing moms.  www.strollerstrides.net/jacksonhole .  Check it out!  Your first class is free, plus there is a special 1-year birthday class on Friday, February 26.  Go and your may get a chance to win a hat at the raffle!

Here are some pics of the finished products!

Fabric is on the way!!!

I just ordered some organic cotton fabric to start my first official line of hats.  There will be a boy, girl, and gender neutral line.  I'm so excited and can't wait for the fabric to arrive!  Now hopefully I can get it in some stores.

I also want to thank Heather Bird for designing my new logo.  Cute, huh?  She also is the one who takes all of our family pictures.  I have a link to her photography site, so if you are ever in Utah, look her up!  She's so talented.
