Hats for a baby shower!

I just finished making some super cute hats for a baby girl and her big sister.  I love how they came out.  A friend's mom gave me all of her shirts scraps from a t-shirt quilt she made and some other printed knit material she wasn't using.  I love the colors together.

Soon to come - fleece scarves!  Perfect for adults and kiddos.  I'll post pics soon.

Just bought some crochet needles.  Need to finish up some other projects before I start that one, but I can hardly wait!  Winter headbands, here I come!!!

Etsy!

Yes, I have finally set up my Etsy account!  Come visit my shop at http://mountainsoleil.etsy.com/  Currently I have a few hats posted and will continue to add more hats and other products.  Etsy is such a fun place to buy gifts for everyone on your list.  I could spend forever looking up all the unique things that people make.  Enjoy!

Ordering information...

I've received a lot of questions about ordering...for now, just e-mail me at mountainsoleil@gmail.com  I can then send you pictures of what I have in the size you request or make you a custom hat.  If you are unsure about the size (ie, your kiddo has a larger or smaller than average head), send me your child's head circ.  Hats are $20.  Add $5 if you need it shipped.  I accept checks, cash, or Paypal.  I hope this helps!  Again, I should have my Etsy shop set up this weekend and you can also order there.  I'll update my blog as soon as it is up and running.

Pictures!

So, here they are!  Just a small sampling of what I have been working on.  They come in all sizes:  0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2T-4T, and 5-7 years.  I can make bigger ones upon request.  All of these ones are made out of repurposed T-shirts.

Happy New Year!

My New Year's resolution is to get this blog up and going!  Time is part of the problem...sewing, 2 kids, and all the responsiblities that go along with that, but progress is being made!
Thanks to my new serger and continued interest in my items, I've really been busy creating, designing, and experimenting with new patterns and hats.  In the next few days you should hopefully see pictures posted on this blog and products on my Etsy shop.  Stay tuned!
